Makaibari Tea Estate which started operations in 1859, is one of the world’s first tea factories. Situated along steep slopes of the Himalayas at kurseong in Darjeeling district, the plantation’s altitude ranges from about 2,500 feet ro 4,500 feet above the sea level. This prized vintage is an organic food produce from the estate’s biodynamic permaculture practice.
